VR (aka Papas)
VR is easily what I miss most about being at home in Hacienda Heights. My parents, grandparents, brothers and sister are all there, but VR is the only one who jumps wildly to see me. We usually play around with his bunny for a while, take a walk around the neighborhood and then he bugs me while I try to study. When I wake up in the mornings, he’s positioned himself at my feet under the blankets.
He’s a lot like the rest of the family: social, mischievous, affectionate, and hella cute.

Awww, I know what you mean! My perrito is always excited to see me! Even if I’m having a bad day or if I’ve yelled at him for humping el gato! LOL

Right now I am in L.A. (still on Vacation) and I had to bring him with me because I can’t stand being away from him. I told my Mami that I was taking him because he’s a lot of responsibily and I didn’t want to bother them with it but the truth is, I can’t stand being away from him. LOL

Just seeing that picture of VR makes me want a dog… even though I know it’s totally not practical for me right now, VR’s cuteness makes me want to throw logic out the door… I have a cat, Rosie, and I love her to death but she’s just not a dog.
You did not just say hella. I’ll admit, he is very cute, but he’s also 100% socal. (ie. not hella cute). I had a dog – Toto – from when I was 5 years old to about 19 years old. Typically loyal and tremendo. It’s true, dogs are easy to miss.

I spend a lot of time with someone from the bay (el Venado) and I used to live with a San Jose native. The hella thing just kind of sticks after a while. I can say that VR is “like, totally, really, really, really cute.” Would that be better?
You had Toto for a long time. I was crushed when our old dog, Bud, died. I think we had him for 6 years. I cried so much when he died.

Thanks. I think he knows he’s adorable because he finds a way to get whatever he wants and easily gets out of trouble.

i’ve been wanting to get a dog for a long time, but they don’t allow me one where i live. i brought one from Mexicali last year, but my suegro made me give him up. we had named her ‘caramelo,’ i even took her to the vet and all.
oh, how sweet. i wanna dog now.

Nope, he doesn’t come with beer. Short story: our old dog, Bud, was given to my family by an older couple who could no longer care for the dog. His name on his papers was Budweiser Light. Well, at that time, my dad had already stopped drinking. So when we registered him as our dog, they changed his name to Bud. He was a cool dog.
