With age, I’ve come to realize that kids can be very cruel at times. I walked into an elementary school the other day, and the stuff coming out of kids mouth. . just really surprised me!

Hey Cindy!
I know what you mean…people used to make fun of my last name, too. I always said I couldn’t wait for the day I could marry someone with the last name “Smith” so that I would never have last name headaches again.
But when it came time for my wedding, and I was marrying a boy with an easy to pronounce/spell common last name, I passed. I kept mine. Didn’t hyphenate or nothin’. For some reason, I didn’t like the thought of letting it go. Sometimes it takes awhile to see these things.
