Thematic me
In 2002 I spent New Year’s Eve in New York City. In 2004, I was in San Francisco. The following year, I drove out to the desert to spend NYE in Palm Desert. In 2005, I rang in the 2006 all by myself in my room at Papa Chepe and Mama Toni’s house in El Cargadero, Zacatecas (they and my parents were all asleep).
This year, I’m still away from LA and glad about it because I’m with my boyfriend and his family in Fremont.
Hope you all have a good and safe New Year’s Eve and Happy New Year.
So you’re saying that you hate LA and can’t stand to be there during times of celebration? The city will remember your sentiments and treat you accordingly! Ha, ha, JK! Que la pases bien y te deseo un feliz año nuevo, con mucha salud para ti y tu familia. Y ahora, a la pachanga!
beautiful. i spent mine here at the apt in peace and quiet. happy new year cindy
Fremont…sorry to ask a personal question, but is your boyfriend from El Cargadero as well? Fremont is El Cargadero Norte, as I’m sure you know (as opposed to Anaheim, which is El Cargadero Sur).
happy new year girl!
¡Feliz Año Nuevo!
Happy New Year Cindylu!
Chavo,
I love LA, but I kinda like having little tradition and not being in LA for one holiday. Hope you had a good NYE.
Tre,
Peace and quiet is nice too… you don’t even have to get all dressed up and go out in the cold. Happy New Year to you!
Gustavo A.,
You can ask all the personal questions you want… uh, maybe not. I had no idea there were so many folks from El Cargadero in Fremont, but I did know of at least one. And no, el novio is not from El Cargadero. That would be weird.
Gustavo,
Feliz año nuevo!
cad,
Hope you had a good time.
HP,
You back yet? Have any more crazy travel tales?
I will be back very early tomorrow morning, and hopefully, will come back with no more crazy travel tales. But who knows, I have yet to arrive at the airport ::crossing fingers::
I’m late as usual, but…Happy New Year!
