I learned a lesson yesterday. When I try do something ahead of time and not wait for the last minute, it just doesn’t work out well. While shopping with my cousins, I dipped in to a Hallmark store to look for a card for el novio. I spent way too much time looking through cards that were overpriced and unamusing. Hallmark sucks when it comes to getting a card for a boyfriend.

If I would have just waited a few hours until I checked my email, I could have found a perfect (and free!) card designed by Rio Yañez, a Chicano artist from San Francisco.
