A lot of you know that my favorite number is 31. My mom and dad are less obsessed about their favorite number, but the whole family still knows that is is 23. This is the day of their anniversary, the day my father became sober, and the day Grandpa was born. It’s a good date in our family, and I hope it stays that way. This I why I really hope they don’t decide to watch The Number 23, and not because I heard that the movie is bad.
What’s your favorite number and why?
# 6, cuz i was born on that day. i remember that in elementary school, 6 was relevant in tons of ways: i was in 6 grade, my sister was 6, i had 6 toes (not really).
Six is my favorite number. It started as my favorite number because it’s the number Steve Garvey wore and I was a fledgling first baseman. I kept it as my favorite number even after I was old enough to recognize he wasn’t perfect and that Derek Jeter is a better athlete and shortstop a better position. I also like it because of the single stroke it requires and how perfectly round it looks, without being perfectly round. Does that mean I like lumpy? Puede ser . . . .
Hmmmmm….I’ve never really thought about this. I don’t believe I have a favorite number…no wait!….maybe it’s 15. That number is embedded in my head porque mi jefitos birthday is the 15th of April, my jefas the 15th of Jan y de la novia y hija both the 15th of Feb. So 15 has been forced upon me to be my favorite number…….atleast I better remember this number.
24. I was born on February 24th…I used to wear #24 when I played softball…and I was 24 the year I fell in love and decided to be a mama and wife. In that order.
Cuatro! My birthday is 4/4 and I have 4 brothers and a bunch of other stuff. You know how that goes…
7 & 13. 7 because I was born on August 7 and 13 b/c it was my soccer jersey number and is usually associated with “bad luck.” It was not until I was in college that I learned why the gang in my neighborhood had a “13″ in its name though . . . .
27. Because it involves the number 3 in every possible way. Two of my best friends from high school and I were born on that day as well. And it’s just a pretty number overall.
My ATM pin number, but then I couldn’t write that here could I? What freaks me out is that when we hang out you’re usually able to find a 31 somewhere. Like lifeguard tower #31 and the 31 above Peet’s.
I don’t know that I have a fav number. I use to say 3 because of March and ’83. But recently I’ve thought 7 was my fav because my bday 3 + 4 = 7 AND brian’s bday 12-5 = 7. Neat huh?
