Dear Chicago,
Why can’t you be warm for my visit? I understood the 19 degree temperature in February, but it’s officially spring. I hope by the time I leave on Sunday the snow and rain has stopped ’cause I want to like you, but how can I get to know you if I’m miserable and cold.
Love,
Cindylu
P.S. Don’t blame it on Canada.
lol. it was snowing when i woke up this morning. big thick fluffly snow. but the mild temperatures are causing it to melt and its super slushy out. as you probably discovered firsthand. i guess its the snow we didn’t get for christmas, we had april type weather then. and if chicago could speak, it might tell you that cracked chancla loves cold weather and decided to consertirla a little bit.
danng! yep that’s cold. hope it warms up for your visit.
I knew there was a reason I was skipping AERA this year…If you happened to have attended the Macarthur Foundation Reception, or Harry Gamboa Jr. Reading at Urbana-Champaign would love to read about it
lo
