decent dresses for short women are hard to find. i know this too well. invest in a little black dress, find a senora to alter it to your measurements and then just vary the accessories. once i accepted this, life got easier.

I’ve been away for your blog for too long. But the images on Flickr and your website don’t lie. I think you look great. Take it from someone who lost a lot of weight–and sister you’ve met in person, so you know how skinny I am–just a mere ten years ago. I struggled with looking in the mirror and not seeing what other people saw. It’s both scary and fascinating. It took me several years to come to terms with the perception of what I saw in the mirror was truly me, and not what I always saw in my head.

well, i know i am on the opposite route, the older i get, the more weight i gain. i rarely buy clothes, but i am going to need to buy some for the new job.

You know, it’s strange. I notice that when lots of my female friends are in serious relationships they start to lose weight, but with my guy friends it’s just the opposite. I wonder what that says …

congrats on the weight loss cindy – that takes some real discipline! what keeps you motivated? i wish i could make the MEChA dinner but it’s the same day as my brother’s graduation party.
